Knit Picks Catalog!

I was waiting till I got my copy of the Knit Picks newest Catalog but it still hasn't come and I wanted to let you all know that on page 33 you will find my Ribbons of Love socks, on Knit Picks they call them Ribbon Socks!  Here are the pictures from Knit Picks!

The Celtic Shamrock Filet Crochet pattern Here!



I am happy to announce that the Celtic Shamrock Filet Crochet pattern is now available I want to thank Natalie McAuley who did the Sample and Photography.  I couldn’t have done this without her great talent!  So how about the pictures!

Materials and Finished Measurements of Pictured Filet Crochet are, we used Aunt Lydia’s Classic Crochet Thread, size 10 and a size 8/1.5 mm crochet hook, this pattern used 670 yards. The results turned out to be 26 inches wide by 21 inches tall.  This pattern can be used with any size yarn and could be made into a throw blanket, here and you will find it at the top of the page.



Update on the Celtic Shamrock Throw

This is my progress so far on my sample of the Celtic Shamrock throw blanket.  It is being knit out of the wonderful Cascade 128 bulky yarn and it is coming out amazing.  Right now I am on row 96 or 200 rows and I am hoping to have the pattern ready for release by the end of the month!  This is the 3rd and final pattern in my Celtic throw blankets and once it is ready you will be able to buy each one separately or all 3 as a set!

This is a close up of the edging, I love how it is coming out!

Design Plans for 2011

So let’s talk about my plans for my designs for 2011! I am setting the same goal I did for last year which is releasing 2 designs a month, now I realize that some months I may miss and others I may release 2 or more but I really would like to release 24 designs this year! Thinks I have in the works right now are the final Celtic knot throw and filet crochet (which are in testing now). I also have several wraps in the plans too and 1 just went into testing and another I am working on the prototype now. I would like to also do another set of dish rags maybe with lace this time. So my question to you is….is there anything you would like to see me design? Leave a comment below and let me know!

Blog plans for 2011!

For the Blog this year I would like to be able to do more reviews of products with giveaways of the products, and I am working on getting some more to do.  I would also like to do some more mystery knit-a-long’s maybe with some prizes too.  I am also setting a goal for myself to post a new blog every other day at least!

I want to wish everyone a Happy and prosperous New Year! I would love to hear your plans for 2011, what will you do different this year? What new thing do you want to try or learn?
For me I will be trying to again this year get 2 patterns out a month I went over that last year so let’s see who I do this time! As for what I want to learn I want to learn how to make Bobbin Lace and I did get the kit and I will keep you all updated. Oh I also want to spend more time spinning and I am going to try to schedule at least 2 hours a day for that!
