Announcing the Breaking Dawn Chunky Heels Hood!
add to cart
$3
This is a quick and easy cabled Hood that takes 1 skeins or 128 yards of chunky yarn, it will be a lovely addition to your winter outfits and will keep you warm and snugly. The neck band is knit flat; you then pick up the stitches for the top of the hood and knit using short rows, just the way you do a short row heel on socks. This is a wonderful way to learn how to do short row heels with larger needles and yarn!

Please post your ideas for a name and on January 25th I will go over all the comments and pick the one I like best! So whats in it for me you ask??? How about one skein of Cascade 128 yarn in the color shown, (enough to make this hood) and the pattern! I can't wait to see your ideas! Also please make sure you leave me a way to contact you, we are having a problem with the last giveaway because I have no contact info on the winner and they have not contacted me back yet!

My first post!
Hi, and welcome to my blog. I tried this once before but I am trying again and hopefully I will do better this time. I am a spinner, I have a Heavenly Handspinning Fidelis wheel, which I LOVE!!! I also do drop spindling. I love to knit and do a lot of test knitting as well as knitting for myself and my family. I just ordered a weaving loom for myself for my birthday and I am hoping it will be here soon.
Here are a few of the things I have test knit in the last few weeks.
