I have come to the conclusion that I need to do my designs in a better order. Right now I have 4 throw blankets and the felted foot stool going at the same time. Which means I am knitting all of them! I really need to learn to do a small thing a and large thing at one time and not 5 big things at one time as I am knitting my fingers to the bone and not feeling like I am getting any where! I am going to start a few smaller designs just so I can feel like I am getting something done.
I am also thinking about doing a pattern called Dish Rag a Month! Now this would be 12 original designs one for each month. Please post in the comments if this is something you would be interested in. I will keep a list of everyone that comments and when the pattern comes out I will do the random number generator and one commenter will get the pattern free!
I think it would be a fun pattern. I like knitting dish rags.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great idea! I love quick projects!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like it would be fun. I just discovered knitting dish clothes and would love to branch out a bit.

I love knitting dish rags - mainly because as you said they are a small project and you can do a lot of them...
ReplyDeleteI love to do Dishcloth Kals, and on months where I'm not super busy (eeek christmas is coming!) I'll knit 2-3 a month. A dishcloth a month would be perfect! Are you going to do it like a calendar or just release one a month?
ReplyDeleteNice thing about dishrags/washcloth patterns is, they can often work as afghan squares as well.

Dishrags are great knits since I have such a short attention span with large projects! I LOVE Quinn's suggestion about afghan squares!
ReplyDeleteMissMelissaZ on Ravelry!
My mom would probably love that! She really enjoys making wash cloths. Thanks for the chance at winning some of your designs!
